The objective of the Distraction Aid is to create a stimulus to break vices such as box walking, weaving, crib-biting, wind-sucking etc. It can be hung either from the centre of the roof, or can be attached to two tie-rings across the corner of the stable or across the inside of the stable door. The ball is made from a strong plastic, and the rubber is one of the toughest on the market. The rope has been tested for durability and strength, and is laced around the ball in such a way that small treats such as carrots can be threaded into the laces.
