Buying the right sized rug

Rugs are sized in three inch increments. The measurement refers to the centre of the chest of the horse along the body to the rear of the quarters where you expect the rug to finish. ( TIP : measure an existing rug laid flat on the floor). The chart below is an approximate guide.

rachel ashcroft	Not as well cut around the neck as in the photo - far lower and my horse has a broad chest so it would be quite big on a narrower horse. Otherwise good quality.

Anonymous	really nice rug - had to get the sewing machine out though to make it fit properly as was big across chest (I have a chunky ID x so not narrow chested!)
