The Stirrup Control System 3 (SCS3) from Mountain Horse is a major advance in rider safety, control and security. SCS3 is a system of slanted grooves built into the sole of each boot. This pattern is specially designed to interact perfectly with corresponding grooves on the SCS3 stirrup tread. The angle of the grooves prevents the boot from sliding forwards but allows you to pull your foot back easily. Four grooves in the boot provide a choice of foot position depending on exactly where you prefer your foot to sit in the stirrup. Research by Mountain Horse shows most riders position their foot in a slightly offset position in the stirrup and the angle of the tread on the sole is designed to reflect this. Slimline, simple and beautiful with a unisex square-cut toe and rear zip. Sure to be a classic of the future. The unique cut and stitching around the ankle is designed to accommodate the shape of your heel and ankle bone more comfortably than ordinary boots. Black. See size chart below for sizes.
