This may look and feel like normal iron, however, a unique release mechanism is discreetly integrated into its construction. An elastic rubber section releases in the event of an accident. The rubber release tube is held in place by two lugs. The lower lug supports the outside of the foot but both lugs will allow the tube to release for easy escape. Constructed from solid cast stainless steel, the stirrup has been tested to demonstrate a breaking strength of 1,100kg. A 5° backward incline helps achieve a 'heels-down' foot position.110mm (4 ¼") suitable for SCS3 footwear sizes 31/2 - 51/5120mm (4 ¾")
