IMPORTANT TYING INSTRUCTIONS

LOOP HANGING ROPE THROUGH BOTTOM RING
& TIE WITH A QUICK RELEASE KNOT

With forage shortages and price increases this season, we know you won’t want to waste a single blade of hay or haylage. Elim-a-Net™ is a simple, inexpensive method of reducing waste by 65%.

Research studies carried out by Parell Products have shown that using an Elim-a-Net™ instead of a standard haylage net can save around £91 in a year for one horse! When looking at the average bale of haylage weighing 20-25kgs and costing around £6.50 that equates to a saving of 13 whole bales per horse in a year.

The study, which used a variety of horses and ponies, was carried out over a 2 week period comparing the haylage wastage from a standard haylage net and an Elim-a-Net ™.

Below is an example taken from the study of an average 500kg horse in light work:

Good net, would definitely chose the largest size. Quite expensive but worth it.

Very good net but the rope to hang the net up with is badly designed and they all come undone at first. Please do not trust them until you have re-tied the knot on the rope.

These nets really do slow down forage consumption by limiting the amount that can be drawn out in any mouthful - compared to the fine holes nets previously used. I am feeding oat straw in them. They are well made and seem durable.

Nice small holes but quite a bulky net with metal ring at the bottom. One of the outer string layers has frayed and detached after about a month of use so not sure whether it will survive my hungry horses' attentions for long.

Better than a normal net. Bit if a faff to tie up with the bottom ring when the net is full. Will see how it stands the test of time.

Definitely slows down the munch rate but find it really difficult to fill and also had to retie at least four of the coloured strands back to the rings as they came undone.

Great product, well made and easier to use than a standard net. More expensive but it feels like it will last. The small holes certainly slow down our ponies rate of consumption!

Used to double net my hay to slow my horse down. This now has the same effect, but is much quicker & easier for me to fill. Hoorah!

Very pleased with this haynet. Our horse has been a bit overweight and this haynet makes sure he eats more slowly and makes the hay last.

Fantastic! I can't recommend these highly enough. Bought the cob sized for my E.F.P. (extremely fat pony) who is on a diet & they are brilliant. We have almost no wastage & hay lasts all day as it slows eating time. Best filled with slices of small bales

Although we have Arabians, I ordered the horse size for our mare and foal...the small holes are safe enough that the foal won't get his hooves stuck in the net. Brilliant idea.

Used these nets last year & bought more. I fill weeks supply of nets at the weekend to save time on the dark wintry nights. They hold more than a normal net and because of the shape are easier stack - no rolling off the pile. Dearer than most but worth it

Brilliant product for any horse/pony owner! Loads less hay/haylage wasted, my greedy cob prefers this net over others. Only disappointment is that some of the threads have broken around the top. Full & cob excellent sizes. Recommend for ANY horse!

Love this product. Helps regulate the speed my laminitic ponies eat! Unfortunately have to buy regularly as they seem to bite through the string quite quickly. Not the cheapest to keep replacing but the best product of its type on the market.

This hay net has really allowed the hay to last most of the night, It is a good size so can fit plenty of hay and the smaller holes mean that the horse must take smaller mouthfuls so he always has something to munch and less chance of getting ulcers.

Very good quality,I bought it hoping to keep the dust down,my horse won't eat soaked hay..it does seem to help, whether it will slow her down remains to be seen as she is out most of the time at the moment.
